This song like all of my songs that I have written, was written from a past experience. This one in particular was written a few months after I lost my grandfather a year and a half ago. I had a rough time getting through it with many questions as to why this had to happen to our family. It hasn't been the same since, and I still find myself close to tears thinking about how much I miss him. But, I know that he went home to be with the Lord in Heaven and that is reasuring to me. God has showed me how to make it throuh some very tough situations and i thank Him for that!
