I had only one song of this band, then I started hearing more. They are an AWESOME band! I really like them!

The band began when David Crowder, from Texarkana, Texas, realized that almost half of the students at Baylor University were not attending church, which he found surprising since it is a Christian university. He and Chris Seay started University Baptist Church (Waco, Texas) in 1995 while he was still a student. Crowder led worship there and continued to do so throughout the year. The church's congregation grew, as did the band's lineup

With their September 2005 release, A Collison, David Crowder Band explored a new realm of musical diversity. The album houses a mix of bluegrass, folk, alternitive, and worship, woven together with a touch of electronic ambience. This release landed them the #2 spot on the iTunes Music Store and the #39 spot on Billboard 200 only one day after its release.

I just recently found this group, and I love them. There is no doubt that this is a Christian Band. I wanted to share them with you because so many of them are about God and it makes you feel so refreshed to listen to them. Some of the songs I'm listening to by them are:

They have other's than these, but these ones are my favorties so far. Starfield is a Canadian Christian music group from Winnipeg, Manitoba. The group has songs and albums that have charted in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. They have won multiple Covenant Awards in Canada. Starfield was originally formed by brothers Tim and Jon Neufeld, both from Winnipeg. Shaun Huberts and Gordie Cochran, both of Victoria, British Columbia, had then joined the band. Unfortunately, Shaun Huberts left the band August 9, 2006.

Hey so tonight I was at youth group and I was talking to one of my teachers and she said Krystl do you want to sing a song with me for Sunday? So I said sure and after youth group we went to practice and this song really hit me. This song like all of my songs that I have written, was written from a past experience. This one in particular was written a few months after I lost my grandfather a year and a half ago. I had a rough time getting through it with many questions as to why this had to happen to our family. It hasn't been the same since, and I still find myself close to tears thinking about how much I miss him. But, I know that he went home to be with the Lord in Heaven and that is reasuring to me. God has showed me how to make it throuh some very tough situations and i thank Him for that!

Theres a time in life when you cant do anything. Theres a time in life when all you do is pray. Theres a time in life when all else seems to fail theres a time in life where it just doesn't seem real.

People see the only side they want to see. What they don't realize is theres another side of me. I want to tell them that they don't understand but every time I try to say they just turn away.

Lord, I don't understand whats happening to me. Lord, why do they see just the smiling face? Theres more to me that I don't want to waste.

Lord this is my prayer to you I just don't know what to do. I want to get it alright but why is it such a fight? All I want is your will so why am I standing still?

Theres more to me than they think. Theres more to life then just a blink. You know the real me is this what I'm supposed to be? Lord please awnser me and give me a glimpse of reality.
