I had only one song of this band, then I started hearing more. They are an AWESOME band! I really like them!

The band began when David Crowder, from Texarkana, Texas, realized that almost half of the students at Baylor University were not attending church, which he found surprising since it is a Christian university. He and Chris Seay started University Baptist Church (Waco, Texas) in 1995 while he was still a student. Crowder led worship there and continued to do so throughout the year. The church's congregation grew, as did the band's lineup

With their September 2005 release, A Collison, David Crowder Band explored a new realm of musical diversity. The album houses a mix of bluegrass, folk, alternitive, and worship, woven together with a touch of electronic ambience. This release landed them the #2 spot on the iTunes Music Store and the #39 spot on Billboard 200 only one day after its release.

 The current members are:
  • David Crowder
  • Jack Parker
  • Mike Dodson
  • Mike Hogan
  • Jeremy Bush
  • Mark Waldrop
  • Steve3po (robotic drummer)
There albums are:

 Pour Over Me
 All I Can Say
Can You Hear Us?
Illuminate
A Collision
Remedy
Remedy Limited Edition
Remedy Club Tour - Live
Church Music

David Crowder said- “new way of thinking about praise – focusing on it as a lifestyle, not an event.”

This is my favorite song from them!

Lyrics-

Love so incredible to know
It's never gonna go
Never gonna go

Love too impossible and true
For anyone but You
For anyone but You

I think I'm on the brink of something large
Maybe like the breaking of a dawn
Or maybe like a match being lit
Or the sinking of a ship
Letting go gives me a better grip

I'm finding everything I'll ever need
By giving up gaining everything
Falling for You for eternity
Right here at your feet
Where I wanna be
I am Yours

Love so indelible to know
You're never gonna go
You're never gonna go

Love to unthinkable and true
For anyone but You
For anyone but You

Maybe like a match being lit
Or the sinking of a ship
Letting go gives me a better grip

I'm finding everything I'll ever need
By giving up gaining everything
Falling for You for eternity
Right here at your feet
Where I wanna be

I'm finding everything I'll ever need
By giving up gaining everything
Falling for You for eternity
Right here at your feet
Where I wanna be
I am Yours forever...

I'm finding everything I'll ever need
By giving up gaining everything
Falling for You for eternity
Right here at your feet
Where I wanna be
I am Yours

Forever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever
and ever and ever and ever (repeat)

Starfield

I just recently found this group, and I love them. There is no doubt that this is a Christian Band. I wanted to share them with you because so many of them are about God and it makes you feel so refreshed to listen to them. Some of the songs I'm listening to by them are:

Cry in my Heart
Album -  Starfield

Can I Stay Here Forever?
Album - Starfield

All We Need
Album - Starfield

Falling to My Knees
Album - Tumbling After

Ordinary Life
Album - Starfield

Over My Head
Album - Starfield

They have other's than these, but these ones are my favorties so far. Starfield is a Canadian Christian music group from Winnipeg, Manitoba. The group has songs and albums that have charted in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States. They have won multiple Covenant Awards in Canada. Starfield was originally formed by brothers Tim and Jon Neufeld, both from Winnipeg. Shaun Huberts and Gordie Cochran, both of Victoria, British Columbia, had then joined the band. Unfortunately, Shaun Huberts left the band August 9, 2006.

Tim Neufeld (lead vocals, guitars)

Jon Neufeld (guitars, vocals)

Dave Lalonde (drums)

James Johnston (bass guitar)

Tim Neufeld said,
"We’re worshippers first, rockers second. Our mission is to connect with our Creator, together with other people. We do the other stuff but it’s not our drawing card. It’s not a successful concert if people are just entertained, if it’s not Christ-centered. It has become more and more of a priority to us to make sure it is Christ-centered. And to make sure that the two hours we have with people are rich with theology and passionate, intimate worship of God.”

There are other sites where you can check this group out. I used Wikipedia for this information. Also go to Youtube to listen to their songs and albums! They're awesome!

Lyrics ( I know the video has them, but maybe you like some part of it and want to copy them or write them down.)

There's a cry in my heart
For Your glory to fall
For Your presence to fill up my senses
There's a yearning again
A thirst for discipline
A hunger for things that are deeper

Could You take me beyond?
Could You carry me through?
If I open my heart?
Could I go there with You?

For what do I have
If I don't have You, Jesus?
What in this life
Could mean any more?
You are my rock
You are my glory
You are the lifter
Of my head
Lifter of this head

There's a cry in my heart

For Your glory to fall
For Your presence to fill up my senses
There's a yearning again
A thirst for discipline
A hunger for things that are deeper

Could You take me beyond?
Could You carry me through?
If I open my heart?
Could I go there with You?
For I've been here before
But I know there's still more
Oh, Lord, I need to know You

For what do I have
If I don't have You, Jesus?
What in this life
Could mean any more?
You are my rock
You are my glory
You are the lifter
Of my head

What do I have
If I don't have You, Jesus?
What in this life
Could mean any more?
You are my rock
You are my glory
You are the lifter
Of my head
Lifter of this head
